Huawei unveiled two Mate 9 flagships – one with a 5.9″ screen and a special edition Porsche Design with a 5.5″ screen. Surprisingly, both models got a positive response.

“Surprisingly” because the Porsche Design costs double what the base edition does – a steep price, but it it is a beautiful phone. The dual-curved screen definitely helps, even more so because it’s an AMOLED with QHD resolution (compared to the 5.9″ LCD with 1080p resolution).

There was a strong contingent of fans of other brands, but the 5.9″ Huawei Mate 9 won and the limited edition followed closely…
