Status of mirrors in your mirror list

Listing the status of your local mirror list. It can be called explicit with --status argument or by running pacman-mirrors with no arguments.

pacman-mirrors --status

If you want to use it in scripting – you can use the return values to execute a rebuild of your mirror list.

• A value of 4 indicates your primary mirror is not up-to-date
• A value of 5 overrides the above indicating an invalid mirror

Continent

Like you can use --geoip to select mirrors in your country (if mirrors exist) you can now use --continent to select mirrors based on continent.

sudo pacman-mirrors --continent

• Europe
• Asia
• North America
• South America
• Australia
• Oceania
