The DEUX Plus Review: All You Need to Know About

If you’re an avid gamer pro, you already know how important a monitor screen can be. A bigger screen with crystal clear quality is every gamer’s dream.

How about we tell you about a Monitor that comes with an extra monitor? Yes, there is a monitor with two screens, and we will tell you all about it in this blog.

The Ergonomics

The DEUX Plus does not have any traditional ergonomic adjustments due to its unique design. Once you mount the additional screen to the laptop, you can rotate it to multiple positions at up to 270 degrees angle, even sometimes facing the opposite direction to your computer.

When you mount the screen to the case, you cannot tilt it, but it will follow the tilt angle of the device or whatever it is attached to. It means that you can tilt your laptop’s screen according to your comfort level.

The back or wall mount of your monitor is simple. You will find no traditional stand on it, and there is no cable management. The borders are surprisingly thick, with 0.47” at both the top and bottom of the screen.

The laptop’s thickness with a stand is 0.6-inches; meanwhile, if you remove the frame, it will only be 0.4-inches. The additional thickness of the screen is due to adding another monitor on the back.

The Build

The DEUX Plus feels pretty okayish when it comes to its build. The mainframe that borders the display is entirely plastic, which doesn’t seem very rigid and has flexibility. The panel also flexes when you’re using the OSD with buttons.

The slider and hinge both could feel very flimsy. The adhesive used to hold the magnets is not designed to be reused, so you might need additional adhesive pads if you want to move the screen between laptops. These screens come with extra adhesive pads for convenience.

The Features of this Product

Here are some features you might like in DEUX Plus

Eye-Care Mode

The Eyecare mode is specially made for gamers and people who spend lots of time on their laptops. When you turn the Eyecare mode on, the DEUX Plus screens switch to an optimal color temperature and brightness to reduce the stress from your eyes. The potentially harmful blue light will be dimmed. This setting is perfect for working late in a low-light environment, word processing, gaming, and reading. Your eyes won’t fatigue much, and you can comfortably spend hours on your laptop.

Auto-Rotation Mode

The DEUX Plus model allows you to seamlessly switch the monitor screen from the left-side setup to the right-side setup and vice-versa. The flexible mounting system inside the monitor paired with the auto-orientation sensor can make that happen within a blink. The automatic sensor will sense the orientation and move or switch the monitor upside side to attach it wherever you want.

Multiple Ports

DEUX Plus comes with two fully functional USB-C ports. These two ports can both provide power support supply and video transmission simultaneously. The second USB-C port can help get a direct connection with devices like Nintendo Switch to have an extended screen experience.

Clear Image

A monitor screen for laptop such as DEUX Plus is expected to have stellar image quality, and yes, it does not disappoint its users. The image quality justifies its price tag. You may see a vibrant display with many modes to make your reading and seeing easier. It may not have the UHD gaming monitor display, but it does not have cheap image quality. One thing worth mentioning is that both the screens do not have a glare coming out of them which means if you have the proper angle orientation, the laptop screen will not produce any blinding glare from either screen.
