A week or so ago, T-Mobile announced its newest Amp One unlimited data plans with several catches. T-Mobile said it figured out how to give its customers unlimited data, and that is by throttling all video streams to optimize the network.
Surely there were many concerned customers and Net Neutrality activists and T-Mobile has heard everyone loud and clear. T-Mobile announced a few changes to the way the plan works and the kinds of add-ons for the plan.
For the standard ONE plan:
For the ONE Plus plan:
The ONE plan starts at $70 for a single line, $50 for the second line, and $20 for an additional line. A family of four can all have ONE data plans and pay $160 per month for service. Depending on your needs, this could be perfectly fine.
The price above applies when the $5 autopay credit is applied. Also, it’s worth mentioning that users that consume more than 26GB of data in a month are subject to throttling during more demanding peak hours and locations.
What do you think of T-Mobile ONE plan? Is it too pricey for an unlimited data plan?

That speed is NOT silly. He said 30 Mbits/s (that is 30 MEGABITS per second not 30 MEGABYTES per second). If that 30 Mbits/s is converted to MB/s, that would be 3.75 MB/s. Just divide it by 8 :)
