I am sure that Juli Clover can elaborate on this. Since she wrote this post, there's probably a reason why the raffle is only limited to U.S. residents.
And also, Andy – pretty much the whole team at Softorino is from Europe. Many developers are from Ukraine. So I can assure you, there's a misunderstanding here.

Simply because there really isn't that much competition. This app is first of its kind. But of course, there are workarounds.
I used to have to try or purchase a bunch of third-party video player apps on my iPhone and iPad, each one with its own quirky interfaces and quirky method of transferring files (built-in FTP or HTTP server, copying the video file to the app's sandboxed folder in iTunes, etc.).
I don't even have to open iTunes anymore with WALTR, just drag and go.
Even if you don't win, it's worth buying. One less roadblock or hoop that you have to go through when dealing with Apple and real world scenarios.
Laws on giveaways vary significantly from country to country and navigating the legal complexities to comply with each of the laws is a nightmarish task we don't currently have the resources for.
