$150 doesn't signal anything with regards to a possible new model. These go on and off sale all the time at various non-Apple retailers.

What sucks is that almost no one carries one with an SSD in stock. I agree the Fusion is ridiculous in this day and age. Even a measly 256GB PCI-e SSD (OEM cost around $25 or less) would make a HUGE difference in performance, and not cost Apple anything.
