Tajna ove tehnologije je u tome \u0161to se \u0161tampa pomo\u0107u toplote, a to zna\u010di da ma\u0161ini ne treba ni mastilo ni toner, a nema ni dodatnih tro\u0161kova za cilindar ili glave za \u0161tampanje.<\/p>\n<p>Mada je u stanju da zadr\u017ei tekst i sive slike sa rezolucijom kao kod obi\u010dnog papira, listovi se pri ponovljenom ubacivanju u \u0161tampa\u010d poptuno obri\u0161u pre nego \u0161to se na njima od\u0161tampa nov sadr\u017eaj.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"460\" height=\"240\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/AQiXONfGwDc&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"460\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/AQiXONfGwDc&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>I dok se na ovaj na\u010din korisnici osloba\u0111aju pla\u0107anja potro\u0161nog materijala, ovo jo\u0161 uvek nije ma\u0161ina za \u0161iroku upotrebu, jer se specijalni papir koji koristi prodaje u pakovanjima sa po 1000 listova koji ko\u0161taju 300 jena komad (oko 2,4 evra), \u0161to nije nimalo zanemarljiv tro\u0161ak. Ni sam \u0161tampa\u010d nije ba\u0161 jeftin \u2013 ko\u0161ta 500.000 jena (oko 4000 evra).<\/p>\n<p>Iznova upotrebljiv papir nije nova ideja ali ovo je po svoj prilici prvi komercijalni \u0161tampa\u010d koji je tu tehnologiju doneo na \u0161ire tr\u017ei\u0161te. RP-3100 izgleda isto i jednake je veli\u010dine kao i uobi\u010dajeni laserski \u0161tampa\u010di.<\/p>\n<p>Kompanija o\u010dekuje da \u0107e se njen proizvod koristiti u specijalizovanim oblastima kao \u0161to su tiketi s cenama robe u prodavnicama, bolni\u010dki kartoni pacijenata i izve\u0161taji koji se distribuiraju u velikim kompanijma. Nezavisno od toga gde \u0107e se koristiti, o\u010digledan nedostatak ovog koncepta, pored cene, bi\u0107e pra\u0107enje gde se sve nalazi skupi papir. Neki listovi \u0107e se nesumnjivo izgubiti \u010dak i u dobro organizovanim kancelarijama.
