Skup je jo\u0161 jedan u nizu doga\u0111aja koje Republi\u010dki geodetski zavod  organizuje u okviru projekta \u201cKatastar nepokretnosti i upis prava  u Srbiji\u201c, pokrenutog 2004. godine zahvaljuju\u0107i sredstvima iz kredita  dobijenog od strane <strong>Svetske banke<\/strong> <strong>i  bud\u017eeta Republike Srbije.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cilj  regionalne IT konferencije je razmena iskustava ste\u010denih pri razvoju  i implementaciji informaciono-komunikacijskih tehnologija  u sistemu katastra nepokretnosti. <\/strong> Razvoj adekvatnog IT sistema omogu\u0107i\u0107e efikasnije poslovanje RGZ-a,   unapre\u0111enje nivoa usluga klijentima, jednostavnije i bolje upravljanje  resursima i unapre\u0111enje tr\u017ei\u0161ta nepokretnosti.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>U svom uvodnom govoru  Nenad Tesla, direktor Republi\u010dkog geodetskog zavoda izjavio je: \u201cPlanirano  je da se ove godine u potpunosti zavr\u0161i izrada katastra nepokretnosti  za podru\u010dje Srbije. Investicije Svetske banke u ovaj projekat pokazuju  zainteresovanost me\u0111unarodnih institucija za unapre\u0111enje na\u0161e dr\u017eavne  administracije. U okviru osavremenjivanja dr\u017eavne uprave, RGZ ima ulogu  od izuzetnog zna\u010daja koja je od koristi za sve gra\u0111ane i dr\u017eavne  institucije. Unapre\u0111enje tehnologija za izradu katastra utica\u0107e na  rast poverenja od strane stranih investitora na tr\u017ei\u0161tu nekretnina  i smanjenje cena u gra\u0111evinskoj industriji.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><em>Republi\u010dki  geodetski zavod je posebna dr\u017eavna  organizacija u \u010dijoj su nadle\u017enosti  dr\u017eavni premer, katastar nepokretnosti,  katastar vodova, adresni registar, topografsko-kartografska delatnost  kao i drugi stru\u010dni poslovi. Poslovi koje obavlja RGZ su va\u017ean oslonac  za  mnoge \u010dinioce dru\u0161tva, organizacije  i dr\u017eavne organe.
