They’ll be super-efficient and probably millions of times smarter than us as they constantly evolve. That opens key ethical question: what will humans do in such a world? Will we own these agents, or they’ll become a new entity,” commented Gligorijevič. Our primary directive in navigating the changes should be “people first”, she concluded.

Through the first global practical demonstration of the OpenClaw Pilot solution (Clawpilot within the M365 environment) Georg Glantschnig, Corporate VP of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations at Microsoft, demonstrated what the future of personal AI assistants inside business environments will look like. His session showcased how organizations can build specialized assistants by assigning them dedicated skills, business domains, and operational guardrails, such as procurement policies and compliance rules. One example presented was “Marvin,” an AI procurement assistant integrated into Microsoft Teams that can monitor delays, track inventory expiration dates, analyze procurement processes, and proactively communicate with employees. The demonstration highlighted how AI agents are moving beyond chat interfaces and becoming operational digital coworkers embedded directly into daily workflows.

Jannik Bausager, Principal Group Program Manager at Microsoft, emphasized the impressive scale and global reach of Business Central, which is now available in 242 countries and used by more than 55,000 customers worldwide. He also highlighted how businesses can now build custom AI agents directly within the Business Central ecosystem, enabling organizations to automate highly specific operational and financial processes while remaining agile and locally adaptable.

Dona Sarkar, Chief Troublemaker Microsoft AI at Microsoft, introduced one of the conference’s most talked-about concepts: Cowork. While Copilot acts as an assistant helping users complete individual tasks, Cowork fundamentally changes that relationship by operating as an orchestrator capable of planning and executing entire workflows autonomously. Users simply define the goal, approve the plan, and the system performs the work. Demonstrated scenarios included preparing customer meeting plans, cleaning inboxes, launching products, and researching company finances. Sarkar also challenged organizations to rethink how they use AI. “We don’t need faster horses,” she explained, referencing the tendency to use AI merely to accelerate existing processes like email writing instead of solving entirely new business problems. According to Sarkar, the real value of AI lies in identifying unresolved challenges through deeper human-to-human understanding and then applying AI strategically to solve them. Another important concept introduced during her session was the “Human Context Protocol” built around Heart, Cognition, and Presence. As AI systems become more autonomous, uniquely human qualities such as empathy, judgment, emotional intelligence, and authentic relationships will become even more valuable.

Swami Narayana, VP for Customer Experience and Growth at Microsoft, focused on what he described as the “new world of business applications”. “Organizations face increasing pressure to accelerate implementation velocity while continuously delivering innovation without disrupting mission-critical systems. Modern business platforms must become significantly more agile to support constant transformation,” Narayana explained.

Cecilia Flombaum, Business Apps Ecosystem Lead at Microsoft, addressed the emergence of what she called “The Frontier Firm” – organizations that fully embrace AI to rethink how problems are solved, adapt faster to market changes, and drive growth more efficiently. According to Flombaum, the companies that will lead the future are not simply optimizing existing processes, but fundamentally redesigning the way they operate with AI embedded at the core of decision-making and execution.

Navigating the Transformation

One of the standout technical sessions came from Vjekoslav Babić, Business Central Solutions Architect and founder of Fortempo, who shared practical implementation strategies and demonstrated how businesses can modernize operations while maintaining flexibility and scalability. April Dunnam, Principal Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, showcased real-world applications of the Power Platform ecosystem, focusing on low-code innovation, workflow optimization and empowering employees to build solutions faster and more efficiently.

Power Platform Advisor Jukka Niiranen addressed governance and long-term platform strategy, emphasizing the importance of balancing innovation with security, scalability and sustainable growth in enterprise environments.

During the panel Don’t Look Up: How AI is redesigning Work, Roles, and Learning Ana Gligorijevič discussed with Ilya Fainberg (Microsoft), Kurt Hatlevik (inspirit365), Jukka Niiranen (Niiranen Advisory Oy) and Matevž Černe (DragonMind) the broader societal impact of AI, acknowledging both the excitement and uncertainty surrounding the rapid transformation of work and business. The panelists emphasized that organizations and individuals will inevitably experience both positive and negative consequences during this transition. “We will fail a few times. We will face dramatic changes,” was one of the recurring messages throughout the discussion. Kurt Hatlevik openly reflected on growing concerns about future generations, questioning what kinds of jobs will exist in an AI-driven economy and whether automation could replace significant parts of human work. The overall tone remained pragmatic rather than alarmist. The consensus was that the current technological shift is accelerating rapidly and evolving far beyond what the industry discussed just a year ago, demonstrating the extraordinary pace of change within business applications and AI ecosystems. “We should use AI and remain critical and thoughtful towards it. The transformation it brings is gradual, but profound. AI creates value, and orders create cash,” Hatlevik summarized, emphasizing that successful businesses will ultimately be those that learn how to translate AI capabilities into measurable outcomes, operational efficiency, and new forms of value creation.

The broader conclusion emerging from DynamicsMinds 2026 was that society is entering a period where the way organizations create value will fundamentally shift.
